Money Saving Tips
If your looking for a great way to ease your wedding budget a little, this is a “Do It Yourself” idea you will love. Accessories add up when your planning your wedding, everyday there is something new that you just have to have. The biggest accessory expense for any wedding is probably the dress, but veils are right up there in price. How can something so small and dainty be so outrageously expensive? I don’t know, but I have the perfect way to keep the price down on an elegantly designed personalized veil. Make it yourself!
Don’t be scared if our not crafty, it’s so easy. Any craft store has every style, color and shape of fake flowers with pearl accents that you would see on any store bought veil. Find something beautiful that you love and then find either a barrette or hair comb, and then make your way to the fabric isle and find some thule. Buy a couple yards depending how long your veil will be, and then go home and design.
For an extra special touch, buy a small box of pearls or small charms and hot glue them in a random pattern right to the thule for a personalized touch. All you need is a hot glue gun, maybe a needle and thread, and just some imagination. Connect the flowers to the hair clip with glue, connect the thule to the clip with needle and thread, and you just made yourself your own wedding veil. Go for it! This project probably would cost you under $20, compared to a couple of hundred. It’s easy on the budget and the thought of making this special keepsake all by yourself is the greatest memory you will have. For Do It Yourself Wedding Supplies Click Here
